How long does setup take?
Most studio owners publish their first class within a few minutes. The booking page, the schedule, and Stripe Connect can be set up in one sitting. We don't make you sit through onboarding calls.
Do you charge per member or per booking?
No. Many booking platforms charge per active member or take a cut of every booking — €39/month is the whole bill. Unlimited members, unlimited classes, unlimited bookings, no commissions. The only payment fees you'll see are Stripe's standard processing rates, and those go directly to Stripe — not to us.
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes — payments go directly to your bank account via Stripe Connect, not through us. We never hold your money. Onboarding is a 10-minute step inside StudioBook setup.
Does it work in German?
Yes. The dashboard, booking page, emails, and invoices are all available in English, German, and Portuguese. Members pick their language.
Are invoices §14 UStG-compliant?
Yes. Every paid booking generates a sequential SB-YYYY-NNNNN invoice with all required §14 UStG fields. Refunds generate Stornorechnungen automatically.
We're already on a booking system — is switching painful?
Most studios come from another tool rather than starting from scratch. We import members, classes, and existing memberships from a CSV — and if your current platform makes export awkward, we'll handle the migration with you. Your members keep their bookings, you keep your history.
Is there a mobile app?
StudioBook works as a Progressive Web App on iPhone and Android — members install it directly from the booking page, no app store. We chose this so you don't lose bookings to App Store cuts.
What if I want to cancel?
You cancel from your account page in two clicks. No phone call, no retention team, no exit interview. We export your data on the way out.
What if I get stuck during setup?
Whenever you need a hand, we're here — write to us and we usually reply the same day, often within the hour. If a quick call would unstick you faster, we'll happily jump on one. Setting up your studio shouldn't feel like a project on its own.
How do I know my data is secure?
Your data lives on encrypted EU Supabase infrastructure in Frankfurt — it never leaves the European Union. Payments are handled directly by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1), so we never touch card data. Every connection runs over HTTPS, every backup is encrypted at rest, and you can export everything at any time.
